Toldin Piroska's Awesome Blossom JH

Jasmine - Toldin Piroska's Awesome Blossom JH - Feb 5, 2005 - Sept 6, 2014

She was Miss Yellow from Steel and Fire and came back to us from placement in Manitoba after a month there.  She was so sweet, we just couldn't let her go. For a while, she seemed to dislike men  in hats, but got over that fast.  She was happy go lucky girl, loved to swim. and she would often go swim at night - we find her swiming around the pool in the moonlight late at night when we let her out to pee. I actually had towels by the door just for her! She was so great in the field, it is hard to describe the feeling seeing this puppy freeze on point, not run after flush and be so steady on point like she was trained, but she was a natural hunter and retriever. She would back any dog on point and we used her to teach puppies to take them out and cover the field.  She was a great mother! She gave us some of the most beautiful puppies with Toldi, then Hunor and the last litter with Phoenix is almost three now. But what she loved the most was her people. She would kiss us and snuggle and although she was not formerly trained in obedience, she was so good at listening and doing everything she figured fast what we were asking of her - and most of time she guessed right. She was truly an awesome dog, she was strong, muscled and very athletic.  She had the most beautiful expressive dark brown eyes and happy disposition. That is why it is so hard for us to understand how she was taken from us so suddenly by intestinal cancer, which is very rare. Vizslas are strong, tough dogs that rarely show pain, until is is too late. She left us with wonderful legacy in her puppies and grand puppies and she will be in our hearts forever, happy, wagging her tail and giving us kisses.

Do not stand at my grave

I am not there.
I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there.
I did not die.
(Mary Frye)

Love you forever our sweet Jas!
